Scientific Results of the COMP-ECO Project Presented at the Annual Symposium “Composites - Theory and Practice”

The representatives of Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, presented the research results generated during the COMP-ECO at the XXVI Symposium "Composites - Theory and Practice" (Brenna, Poland, 5-7 June 2024).

Dr. Kamil Dydek's oral presentation was focused on the possibility of using CNT-doped strips as heaters in active thermography. Michal Misiak presented his report on the use of 3D printing technology for damage monitoring in GFRP, and received an honorable mention for his poster presentation. Both researchers presented the results of the joint research project conducted under the COMP-ECO project in collaboration with TU Delft, TU Dresden, and other COMP-ECO Polish partners.

The Scientific Symposium “Composites - Theory and Practice” is an annual event organized by the Polish Society of Composite Materials. The symposium aims to present current research results and trends in the production, testing, modeling, and application of composite materials. The organizers aim to create a forum for the exchange of views and experiences, as well as to enhance integration between the scientific community and industry. The scientific quality of the symposium is ensured by the Scientific Committee, which consists of prominent specialists in various composite disciplines.
